Patrick Cantrell comes to the Gary Lanham Group with impressive credentials indeed! Not only does he have successful experience in real estate, he is an expert at writing and reviewing contracts and grants. In addition, he’s skilled at negotiating at all levels, including executives with government, corporate, and non-profit clients.

Patrick has held multiple management and leadership roles. For several years he was employed in the swimming arena as head coach, aquatics consultant, director of high-performance programs. He coached several national champions and long-distance swimmers who ranked at top levels prior to beginning his career in real estate. According to Patrick, he’s most proud of the part he played in the USAS Make a Splash Initiative achievements where he developed disadvantage youth as lifeguards and swim instructors to employment.

Patrick then navigated from real estate in 2013 to work with Superstorm Sandy recovery and rebuilding. He wrote grants as well as acted as construction liaison between homeowners, architects, and engineers. During that time, he managed a construction fund portfolio worth more than $67 million.

Patrick gravitates toward industries that assists people and helps them excel. A long-time friend of Gary Lanham, he came to the GLG Group as a licensed agent in November 2018. He considers one of his strong points the ability to get people to talk about themselves. Building relationships and kinship are a key component of Patrick’s ability to narrow their likes and dislikes, which helps him hone in on what they are looking for in real estate.

As seen in his work history and character, integrity, commitment, and hard work are priorities for Patrick. The Gary Lanham Group is fortunate to have him bring his skills and knowledge to the team.
